Questa Independent School District

To Our Parents and Community,

The mission of the Questa Independent School District is to always do what is best for kids. I am listening to you, our parents, our employees, and our community. I like nothing better than to celebrate the successes of our school district with all of you and I want to be honest and open and to work with all of you to help our district meet it's goals.

After listening to members of our community over the past few weeks, I believe that our school district has inadvertently broken trust with many of our families and we hope to restore this trust and to build a stronger school community, as I truly believe we are stronger together. The Questa schools have some amazing, dedicated, and hard working teachers and staff and because of their efforts, I feel we truly can more forward and build a stronger school community.

I have instructed my staff to move forward with a positive and open dialogue with our stakeholders and to communicate in a respectful, open, and collaborative manner.

We want to embrace the values of the many members of our community, and we hope to build stronger bonds and more collaborative projects throughout the year.

I would like to invite you to join our district Parent Advisory Council and to help us navigate our way to success!! We need you to step up, help advise our district level decision making and help us identify our strengths and weaknesses. We welcome you to the decision making table.

With the support of the community, I believe we can restore trust and move forward in the spirit of a common goal: to ensure that all students can learn in a safe and respectful environment and parents can be assured that their values are respected. Go Wildcats!!!
